Yes, its Meg, resurfacing in a post for my Dave. Yesterday was his birthday and unfortunately he had to be in class all day learning for a possible career change. So when he returned Charlotte and I were ready with presents, lasagna, and cake...who could ask for more right?
My attemp at a bike cake turned out better than I expected (with the help of my friend Alexis) But I drew the bike, complete with chocolate cake "off road" wheels.

Here's your birthday story David. I guess I didn't get it told this year. Dad, I, and baby Paul went out for ice cream sundaes on 9/12 to our favorite Dairy Queen. I had a strawberry sundae, came home, and contractions started. I told Dad I was tired and was going to sleep. He stayed awake all night "waiting." When I woke up the next day, I took my time, and we finally went to the hosp!... where you were born at 1:10 PM, 6 lbs. 8 oz., 19 1/2 inches, and we fell in love with you. Happy 36th birthday. We nicknamed you 'Dove' because you were so peaceful. Love, Mom
