learning something new

Charlotte is not yet well enough to go back to daycare, so she is staying home with me. Today for the first time I attempted to put Charlotte's hair in pigtails. I ended up laughing hard enough and long enough for Charlotte to join in...and long enough after that for Charlotte to stop laughing and stare at me like "what the heck are you really laughing at"? I took pictures to share, posted, then re posted after reading Erin's blog. Two things new in one day. Not to shabby. ~Dave

It might take a little time, but with practice hopefully I will get better at both.

Love the hair-do, dad! You should have seen your wife's hair while I was in the hospital for Erin's birth -- not a pretty sight! Dads and little girl's hair just don't seem to go together, but the pics are great! I hope she gets feeling better soon!

Wow, I can say that you really tried hard and accomlished little...no, it is all worth the time and effort when one spends time together with their children. Keep those laughs with you, as that is what being a parent is.
Love you all....

O.K. so maybe being a hairdresser just insn't your thing. I wouldn't feel too badly about that...
Besides, Charlotte appears to be pretty pleased with the look.
Give her a kiss from Nana - and one for MeMe too!

Go Daddy Dave! L.C. still doesn't have enough hair to try the pigtails, but I I think you'll give me and T a run for our money.
